  1. this is not news, china has done it for years. the relation between china and russia will only end when putin dies and china supports a chinese president over russia.

  5. This is genuinely bad news for Ukraine. Manpower shortage is russia’s big weakness causing inflation and this gets around that quite well.

    And China should normally be scared about sanctions to be punished for this, except countries like Canada are desperate for a win and need China more than China needs them in an effort to push back against US tariffs.

    Whether the current US tariffs actually help the threat of additional sanctions by other countries against China or just drive China closer to Russia because they’ve already lost the US as a customer is hard to say.

  8. I’m gonna guess this is Chinese citizens making a buck and not sanctioned by the Chinese Govt.

    Just like all the US optics finding themselves in Russian drones.

    The calculus just makes no sense and every step of the way it hasn’t been the Chinese Government.

    Right from that initial shipment of 1000 rifles that turned out to be an opportunist.

  10. This is not good for Ukraine. A smarter move was to quietly move through EU channels and make a joint counter. 

    Publicly blasting China real or fake would make it sound like a desperate attempt to make China lose face and actually join the war in public. I fear they’re making a mistake thinking China is another Russia. Chinas inexperience in modern warfare equipment could possibly spell out even more disastrous for Ukraine. Imagine some newly enrolled soldier accidentally inputs the wrong sequence launching 20 instead of 1 precision missile is a real concern. They might not even have rolled out proper procedures of going through military command prior to striking. 

    This war has turned into an attrition war, something Russia and Ukraine lacks… but China? Combined with the fact they lost US support… sheeshhh

  12. Zelensky says he has evidence but refuses to provide them. Throwing China under the bus to appease Trump in hopes of getting help is going to backfire.

  19. A few days ago there was headline news Zelensky claimed they captured Chinese helping Russia and it turned out they are just Mercenaries. I think he did all these just to please Trump.

  22. I’ve been saying this for **years**!

    They are like the USA in that they will sell weapons to practically anybody (although the USA sells many times more weapons).

    Also, they are using Russia just as the USA is using Ukraine; to hurt their opponent (USA). I have no evidence, but I think they are selling Russia arms, missiles, ammunition, anything they need.

    Why wouldn’t they? US politicians are openly gloating about killing Russians, at least the Chinese are quiet about it
