6. “Guns don’t do the killing” Nice theory. In 2022 in Canada there were 334 shootings resulting in homicide. In America for the same year there were 24,849 homicides by gun. If you adjust for population, there were 3,300 killings in Canada vs. over 24K for America. I’m gonna say gun availability was the difference.
