This is not a drill – Wingstop is coming to Australia!
Internet sleuths have done God’s work and uncovered clues a mysterious Wingstop store is in the works in Sydney.
Kings Cross locals were quick to spot a sign that reads “Flavour Landing Soon In Wings Cross” in the brand’s iconic green tones.

When people starting posting photos to social media, it became clear Wingstop was officially headed Down Under.
But, just to make sure it’s legit, we did a bit of digging.
It turns out the brand has already created a TikTok and Instagram account, @wingstopau, with a bio that simply reads “Flavour Landing Soon 👀🍗” and a link to either “join the team” or head to the website.
While the website doesn’t give us any official information on an opening date, it does reveal the location of the store and what’s going to be on the menu.
The first Wingstop store in Australia is going to be located at 1/11 Darlinghurst Rd, Potts Point, and to start with, it looks like it’s only going to be open for lunch from 11am to 2pm every day.
In terms of what’s going to be on the menu, you can expect all the Wingstop classics.

There’ll be classic wings and boneless wings available in various sizes and with the option to upgrade to a combo with chips and a drink, as well as chicken tenders either as a three piece or five piece.
Cajun corn and chocolate brownies are on the sides menu and when it comes to chips, it looks like we’re going to be spoilt for choice.
If regular fries aren’t your thing, you’ll be able to jazz them up with several different flavours available including cajun, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, cheese, ‘voodoo’, and buffalo.
And for drinks, it’s a pretty classic selection with a range of Coca Cola options, water and Monster Energy.
While the website and social media pages don’t give us any details on an opening date outside of “flavour landing soon,” Wingstop Australia’s Google page may have let that little detail slip.

It looks like it could be set to open on May 17. (Google)
If Google has this one right, Wingstop Kings Cross is going to be open on May 17, but without any official confirmation from the brand itself, don’t get too attached to that date.
For now all we can do is keep an eye on socials and drool over the menu while we wait for some more concrete news.
