Trump wants Powell out of the Fed. Waiting in the wings is Kevin Warsh

1. After Powell, I do not have any faith that Trump will pick someone who will not do exactly what they are told. Whoever Trump’s pick is, will be someone who lowers rates over and over, to try to help Trump’s short term economic politics at the expense of everything else. He will unload the clip right away and we’ll have no ammo for the stagflation his tariffs are going to cause.
