A 69-year-old British man was injured Friday in a motorcycle crash with a car near Bralos overpass in Fthiotida, central Greece.
The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. as the motorcyclist was traveling from Lamia toward Thermopylae. He was thrown onto the road but avoided more serious injuries thanks to his protective gear and helmet.
He was transported by ambulance to Lamia General Hospital and is in stable condition. The car’s driver was not hurt. The motorcycle sustained significant damage. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
