The Tulsa City Council plans a tour of four mental health providers in Tulsa, as state leaders work on funding issues that led to cancelled contracts for several mental health initiatives in Tulsa. The tour is scheduled for April 23rd.

The Council plans to tour Family & Children’s Services, Grand Mental Health, Yes Tulsa’s Youth Urgent Care, and Parkside Psychiatric Hospital.

The object of the tour is to build understanding of the mental health crisis response system, according to the published agenda for the Council.

The agencies involved provide crisis care to young people and adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient care and on-demand urgent care.
