  1. Not having an executive for 100 days would have been less damaging.

  2. Trump will most certainly go down as one of if not the worst U.S. President in history and that is quite a feat.

  3. Trump’s cult will defend what he’s doing even if they have to go to food banks to survive. His popularity with the rest of us depends on his handling of the economy. There’s no faking that. He can’t lie his way out of that. Even the alternative facts people can’t change the way math works.

  4. Trump’s first 100 days have been a whirlwind of chaos and regression. Dismantling institutions, cosying up to despots, and undermining democracy isn’t leadership – it’s a blueprint for disaster.

  5. Impressive he is still in office given his actions since retaking office

  6. Not just failure to meet his own goals. But inflicted harm that will take decades to unwind. The mass of monumental arrogant and incompetent ignorami the mad king has surrounded himself in has led to a historical record of self owns and self inflicted wounds.

I’m hesitant to blame malice for what can be explained by ignorance. But the obvious glee these monsters display as they inflict damage, pain and suffering is obscene.

The tragedy is that it is not only his supporters that suffer. All of us are suffering. Not only here in the US but also world wide. We will suffer more at his hands before this is over. And it will take generations to recover.

  7. Failure like no has ever seen. This the biggest failure in American history, people keep telling me. I don’t know…I don’t know….but it is a beautiful failure.

  8. Historic “Destruction” might be more appropriate than “failure”.

  9. And *The Washington Post* is complicit in putting him in a position to do so.

  10. For sure. This administration has been nothing short of a dumpster fire that has only succeeded in causing division at home and across the world.

  11. Trump is doing exactly what he wants to do. It’s a failure for the citizens, not for him.

He is failing at doing his job, but he never wanted to do that seriously in the first place. He just wants the perks, ego trip, and control over money so he can enrich himself.

  12. And yet literally >90% of Republicans still support him.

You have millions of people living two different realities and it’s only going to get worse.

  13. But at the some time, it’s been wildly successful for Krasnov.

    Hmmmm…..what a strange coincidence 🤔

  14. Should have endorsed the other candidate, eh WaPo? But instead, you were instrumental it getting us exactly where we are today.

Constant sanewashing and normalizing the actions of a madman, and look where it has gotten us.

  15. gee, too bad your paper couldn’t have tried to do something like i don’t know… endorsing his opponent maybe?

  16. Dude I love this shot.

Reagan in the background, faded away cause his era has died to Trump’s. But also there as a faint reminder of that time he called out tariffs as a terrible economic policy, literally haunting the current president.

    Peak composition

  17. If failure is the goal, then it’s a great success.

  18. Wow can’t believe Bezos greenlighted his propaganda machine to publish this.

  19. How did Bezos allow this to be printed? Last I checked the WaPo was quite content to let democracy die in darkness.

  20. Thanks, Bezos, for blocking your paper’s endorsement of Harris.

You’ve got blood on your hands.

  21. That’s all he has ever been, a failure. His dad’s money ensured that he never actually suffered from it, so he could keep on failing until something worked.

  22. Wow crazy that Bezos’s newspaper published this

  23. It’s only been 100? It feels like 1000 days. Look at the misery and destruction of the USA. Putin must be thrilled with Krasnov. The US destroyed from within without firing a single bullet.

  24. not if hes trying to bankrupt the country.

    then 100% successs.

  25. Trump is defining new lows for government failure that people didn’t previously realize could happen in the US.

  26. Call it “failure” if you like.  But in doing so you’re falling for his lies. He made all kinds of claims that he was going to improve the economy and of course he’s destroyed it. He made all kinds of claims that he was going to root out corruption in the government and save us a lot of money.   The results of course were disastrous for us.   But to call that “failure” assumes that he actually intended it to work the way he claimed. Do I have to remind you that Trump lies?

Trump’s goal was to consolidate his power and weaponize the state consistent with the 2025 program. _All of that he has done_.  Therefore I would pronounce his work a success in terms of the 2025 project, which of course is his real goal.

  27. 4 whole years, 4 years! And it’s been 100 days, the US will be a 4th world country by then
