   >Sussex Police said on April 13, a woman in her 30s reported to officers in Hastings that she had been raped the night before by a man who followed her into her home address after driving her home.

   >She was supported by specialist officers and a suspect was identified and arrested the same day.

   >Abdulhamid Alammar, 34, of Muriel Way in St Leonards, was subsequently arrested and charged with rape and sexual assault by penetration.

   >He has also been charged with a count of sexual assault by touching in relation to a separate report made by another victim in 2023.

   >He has been remanded in custody to appear before a court, to be confirmed, on May 13.

9. A previous assault was reported in 2023. Why was he still driving a taxi a year later if he was known to be a predator?

10. Taxi Driver? With that strong native sounding name?

    So, not an engineer, scientist, or doctor?

11. At what point do British leaders and British society collectively realize that this is becoming (or has become) a pervasive problem and a failure to acknowledge (under the guise of cultural sensitivity) is preventing actual discourse with the aim of preventing further British women from becoming victim?

    This is starting to resemble American society wherby conservatives refuse to acknowledge there is a problem with gun violence using the premise that “not all gun owners are criminals”

    And still choosing to focus on race, rather than gender, because focusing on the gender of the perpetrators is not as comfortable as scapegoating brown people.

16. The perpetrator is named Abdulhamid Alammar, surprising nobody. 

    Not sure what is worse, that they live up to the stereotype – or that we sit back and let them do it.
