You’d have to be *individually* targeted by the administration. Just the general fact that the administration is guilty of violating basic rights in a variety of ways isn’t even REMOTELY enough as long as they haven’t violated specifically YOUR rights.
If it was enough, then there’d be a **LOT** of people with the right to asylum from a LOT of countries. For example every single woman, every single LGB person and every single non-muslim from large pars of the middle east would qualify.
Yes the current US administration is horrible in a seemingly endless list of ways. But despite that it’s ALSO still true that there’s a loooooooooot of countries on this planet that routinely violate basic rights on a much more massive scale than USA does.
I have said this here before, but there is no country in the world that can or would want to absorb over 100 million Americans who want nothing to do with this administration. It’s up to us as Americans to rally our political and economic will and see that the fascists are defeated. No one else can do this for us. You can’t outrun the danger from the world’s most powerful military.
I know things are bad. You need to protest with the rest of us. At protests, you can find like minded individuals and realize what the billionaires are afraid of the most: a united working class. Protests give you a chance to meet other people who can help you organize. Make a point to contact your elected officials and let them know you expect them to defend the Constitution, and will be working towards their removal if they fail to do so.
The people best positioned to defend against this administration’s tyranny are American citizens. Please don’t give up before we even have a chance to make a difference.
No, that would never happen unless you were individually targeted. Norway would never want to let millions of you into the country just because you as a nation chose the wrong president.
You still have rights. Use them to fix your country’s problems instead of running away. It is not our responsibility to rescue you
