Hello again. This is page 3 of my great grandfather and his sister’s letters from 1935. My great grandfather came to the USA in 1913. He took a boat from Hamberg, Germany on the USS Lincoln. It took 12 days. Once again, I would appreciate of someone could translate this. Thank you in advanced.

  1. I’ll translate from the “Brangioji sesute” part (1st image bottom paragraph & 2nd image you posted), above it, I’m having big issues with reading some of the words, but it sounds like a fairly poetic letter in a sense.

“Dearest sister, I often remember the words you kept telling me back when you were still home. Don’t be sad, sister, once I go to America, I’ll send you a lot of pretty dresses and you will walk dressed up like a lady ( / Noble lady /). But days have passed, years have passed, I have waited for some presents, alas have not received any. However, I am not upset, sister, maybe it was difficult for you as well with little children, but now, sister, I ask you for help”.

The letter ends with 3 more words, I can’t really understand 3rd word from the last what it specifically means (not a linguist), but if I was to interpret it in my own way, it’s supposed to end with “as soon as possible”, in sense of maybe a reply or something else (letter cuts off and there’s no context as for help with what).
