  20. They replaced NAFTA with a Trump deal in his first term, then in his second term went on to say it was a terrible deal and are threatening to annex canada…. so a trade deal with trump isn’t worth the rapidly faltering currency it is written on.

    Basically, China expects us to pretend that Taiwan is not a country, while the US expects us to pretend that there is no meaningful distinction between social and biological genders. I am not sure which topic is overall more important, or more offensive, or whatever; but both expectations seem roughly equally ridiculous to me.
