  1. And nobody will think that Japan is not a serious country in which to invest, that their money isn’t safe. Because investors are not stupid and understand context.

  2. Meanwhile, President “Im gonna finish this War in a Day!” Thinks about ending his peace “negotiations” and help for Ukraine. What a huge letdown of a allied democratic country leader.

  3. That’s awesome!!

Help them fund the continued defense of their country with their aggressors own money.

  4. Japan is one of the most careful countries when it comes to appearances, upholding strict social standards, and “saving face.” This is a great move by them, and says a lot with them being as far from the war as the US is.

Telling also that a Japanese trade minister, a few days ago, flatly criticized Trump’s tariffs in harsh language. Almost unheard of for the Japanese to do that, especially to the US.

Very telling when these two developments are taken together.

  5. Alas, nope. It’s a loan backed by “profits from immobilized Russian assets”. The assets themselves are still untouched, and if/when they are unfreezed, Ukraine is on the hook for that loan.

Time to confiscate those Russian assets!

  6. Ukraine badly need such sinews of war, as money is not infinite. So glad to see Japan doing the right thing like this.

  7. I appreciate Japan being the Lieutenant Kitsuragi to America’s Harrier Du Bois.

  8. I hope there’s some frozen billions left to pay for rebuilding when the war one day is over.

  9. Lets see how high the Trump will raise Tariffs on Japan after Papa Putin threatens to take Trumps allowance if he doesnt react

  10. The World are giving Ukraine Russian assets. While US are robbing Ukraines assets.
