We just want a fair deal. They’ve been taking advantage of us for years.
I don’t agree on the matter as other nations have tariffs on American goods, but we have maintained a 2 % global rate. I’m not for the high tariffs pricing atm but bring the tariffs to equal Amount is appropriate. We don’t export enough for majority of nations to be concerned, additionally if the tariffs are being set at a 50% lower. Then it’s still profitable for them to maintain a 10-20%. The fact it turned into a trade war is a little over reaction. The quickest solution was to simply match or lower the tax on American goods; the same would be applied inversely.
