The nationalist Youth Union of Turkey (TGB) has announced that its members had put sacks over the heads of U.S. soldiers in Istanbul’s Sarayburnu. The U.S. soldiers are believed to be among the crew of the U.S. Navy warship “USS Mount Whitney” which is currently docked at Sarayburnu Port.
The Youth Union of Turkey (TGB), a nationalist group closely linked to the Patriotic Party (Vatan Partisi), said on Nov. 2 that its members had put sacks over the heads of U.S. soldiers in Istanbul’s quarter Sarayburnu.
The Patriotic Party is basically an Eurasianist, pro-China and pro-Russia party which supports most of the Erdoğan’s actions that move Turkey closer to Russia and China.
