If it’s a rental: don’t touch it but let the owner know.
I’ve had them in two of my rental apartments I’ve lived in so far. I recommend if it’s a rental flat, let the owner know else make an appointment with your Hausverwaltung and maybe let them give you a contact of a company that fixes them
