  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

  2. I feel like a lot of these conversations puts the burden on schools, teachers, social media etc when in reality education starts at home. Isn’t it parents’ job to make sure their children learn good habits and keep vigilant about bad behaviour and influence in their lives?

  3. We should regulate the shit out of social media, especially for kids, but the best time was like 10 years ago.

  4. How can Tate be a role model to anyone?

Not only are his misogynistic views despicable and stupid as hell.

He looks like a suppository with pubes for a beard

He is extremely insecure and thinks that talking louder and faster make him right.

    I just don’t get it.

  5. Has anyone noticed anything about all these powerful spouting gobshites, that seem intent upon destroying society?

They’re all millionaires and quite often, well funded from dark money sources.

Wherein, might we then ask what is really going on and are we being played to elicit a result not of our choosing ?

  6. Why are kids/”men” enthralled with this dork? He sounds like a dipshit, he talks like he’s had a stroke, and all he does is talk stupid shit that I doubt even he believes.

    I don’t get it.

  7. Time to do a China and ban internet for pre-teens

  8. Lads, if you find out your son is at this, give him a warm ear.

  9. I thought Tate was way over his short lived peak and is now a washed up conman that no one takes seriously anymore.

  10. This post is a perfect example for why Andrew Tate still has influence. Virtually everyone here seems to think that all you need to do is regulate stuff like social media and suddenly everything will go away. It won’t. People like Tate will never go away for as long as the vulnerable and neglected people Tate latches onto are ignored.

  11. When will we ban social media? Or at least limit access for children? How much more evidence is needed?

  12. Honestly, I think it is unfair to put the burden on teachers here. The part of education that deals with viewing women as equal human beings is supposed to be done at home – what we’re seeing here is less a failure of the public education system and more a colossal abdication of responsibility by parents.

When I was in grade school in the late 2000s and early 2010s, my parents took special care to regulate my social media usage – I had to log into Youtube on my dad’s account and my mum regularly checked who I talked to on Facebook; and I wasn’t any worse for these things. Granted, I’m a woman so it’s different, but there’s a lot the parents of boys could be doing to prevent Tate’s ideas from spreading.

You simply can’t let the internet raise your children.

  13. Principals and schools really need to get behind teachers. Students should be required to show a minimum of respect to be in class.

  14. Well. It seems to be the age of lie and deny. And we can’t blame kids for not being able differentiate.

  15. Guys like Tate are a poison, warping kids perception of reality. The wakeup will be brutal for them all.

We need strong laws on misinformation related to science and financial scams.

  16. Please send help, my oldest son has been on some kind of Tate train for months and no matter what us parents say to him, he still thinks the man is valid because he is a “self made” rich person. I’ve even sat down with him to do research on the guy. I’ve also noticed through our conversations there are other hangers on, who are trying to be like the Tate bros, and come out with their own “entrepreneurial” drivel. They say things like, you can’t trust your parents, and promote toxic work habits. It is sickening that these “from the ground up entrepreneurs” are preying on young men. My son even sent some of his money to STRANGERS who are affiliated with the Tate University thing, saying they could help my son make a ton of money.

The tates are truly an infection, a blight on humanity. No wonder the 47th advocated for their extradition.

  17. Well they should get F’s, Principal reprimands, have their parents called in and put before threat of expulsion if they persist 💁‍♂️

  18. I mean if you’re a father and you let your kid watch andrew tate, you have FAILED AS A PARENT . Simple as that

  19. My son started talking about Andrew Tate a few years ago when he first started coming into the mainstream. I wasn’t really aware of him and looked into him for about 10 minutes and had a conversation with my son about how he was a weak person cosplaying as a strong and haven’t heard of him again since.

  20. There’s been a crisis for boys in school for awhile

[Boys graded more harshly than girls for identical work](https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/01425692.2022.2122942)

[Systemic lower external assessment of boys](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0742051X22000993?via%3Dihub)

    Here are some more:

    [Teacher gender bias against boys](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0272775718307714)

[Teachers grade girls more easily than boys](https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/j.1467-8586.2008.00278.x)

[Teachers give male students lower assessments and male students are aware of it, causing them to perform worse](https://www.ouazad.com/papers/2013_JPubE.pdf)

Note that this effect is so large and obvious that it is constantly found by study after study in different (western, developed) countries and different levels of schooling.

Evidence of discrimination against boys in school:

    https://www.bbc.com/news/education-31751667

    https://www.bbc.com/news/education-31751672

Boys are graded lower for the same work. And this leads to reduced college enrollment for boys.

    And another aspect…

    https://watson.brown.edu/news/2016/boys-bear-brunt-school-discipline-interview-jayanti-owens

They are punished harder than girls for the same misbehaviors. So they’re disengaging en masse.

This has a direct impact on college admissions and future outcomes.

Schools give more leeway to girls and boys are being forgotten and as you can see, left behind in many areas.

The entire educational system is failing men and boys.

Imagine if the grand majority of elementary school teachers were men. Most people, including men would recognize that this probably isn’t great for girls… they wouldn’t have role models… their teachers wouldn’t know how to connect with or support them… subtle things about how the educational system works would be biased against them.

This is exactly how it is for boys, but we don’t talk about it much at all. It’s no wonder it’s showing up in college in such an obvious way as that’s the first point normal where participation becomes voluntary. And boys definitely drop out earlier at disproportionate rates as well.

There’s a genuine crisis happening with boys and modern societies are ignoring it almost completely.

  21. Boys need good strong male role models.

I literally get paid to be a positive role model because of people like Andrew Tate. Where the crap are all the good dudes who want to be a teacher or mentor?

  22. If some asshole on the internet has more influence over your kid than the actual parents.
The parents should take a really good look in the miror
