She is certainly a poster child for the reason why I don’t pay a license fee any more and wont again. At this point I just don’t care if the BBC dies, I prefer to take my government propaganda filtered and discussed at least a little bit rather than amplified with additional sprinkles on top.
Depends on what you wanted from her. It has been a failure if you wanted her to be impartial and to hold MPs to account. She has been great if you are a Tory MP who want to get away with something. It’s all a matter of perspective.
But a resounding success for the tories, as intended.

Having listened to her quite a bit on the excellent Newscast podcast (recommended) she comes across as well informed and insightful. Some of her hot-takes on Twitter have been a bit shit, though.
Still waiting for the prosecution for breaking election law by declaring a result before the returning officer, but one thing is certain there’s a life peerage ready and waiting for her when she’s ready, that seems to be the Tories reward for good behaviour.
