When you turn 18, the mutualiteit/ziekenfonds stops reimbursing ADHD medication even though many of us still need financial support to afford it. Some people don’t even get help until after they turn 18, and the cost of testing and diagnostics, whether for adults or children, can easily exceed €1,000.

This is unfair for a serious condition that affects many people. ADHD isn’t just about having "attentive" issues. It can cause problems in daily life, such as struggles with emotional regulation, which can lead to anxiety, depression, or burnout. The impact of untreated ADHD goes far beyond what people often think.

People shouldn’t have to stop their treatment or skip testing just because they can’t afford it. ADHD affects not only the person themselves, but work, school, relationships, and mental health.

This is why I’m asking for your support. Please sign this petition to make ADHD medication and testing affordable for all ages. We need about 25,000 signatures for our "volkvertegenwoordigers" to come together and discuss it.

    Ikzelf gebruik dexamphetamines. 30€ voor 60. Andere medicijnen heb ik nog niet geprobeerd, maar het is voor ADD. Getekend voor de goeie zaak wel

  3. Signed! My subscription to being a normal functioning human costs me nearly 700 euro a year. Would be nice to bring that down a bunch.

  4. Elke maand betaal ik €90 voor mijn medicatie, mijn testen kostten €500 (in ziekenhuis gedaan na halfjaar op de wachtlijst te staan). Teken de petitie a.u.b. 🙏🏼

  5. Werkt medicatie tegen add, ik ben er onlangs achter gekomen op mijn 43 dat ik het ook wel eens zou kunnen hebben.

  6. Jongens, het gaat over 50-150 euro, betaal het lekker zelf als je er zo goed op functioneert (ja, dat doe ik ook)

  9. Not going to sign it because there are more important things that should be paid back by our healthcare. They are even planning to stop or making it harder reimbursing more important stuff.
