  1. $3.97 per dozen at HEB in Spring, TX. The usual rate was always more like $1.25.

  2. As usual, White House and the Cheeto are clueless.

  3. This is just Trump doubling down, as always. He knows egg prices are still high and it’s not enough for him to bullshit us by saying that prices are low, so he says they are *too* low. It tells me he knows things aren’t going well.

  4. The average price of a dozen eggs in a US city hit **$**5.90 in February 2025; jumping by 19.2% in just one month, from $4.95 in January. The price of eggs is higher than ever before, with the previous peak at $4.82 in January 2023, and has nearly doubled since the same time last year. (Apr 10, 2025)

  5. $4.97 for a dozen where I live. That’s too low? That’s 250% more than they used to be. Fucking clown. I don’t know if I can take almost 4 more years of this dumbass.

  6. Umm we are 4.99 in Missouri, and while we are on the subject of things that dont match reality. with the price of oil so low, where is this 1.98 gas he was talking about? our gas prices haven’t budged. I think his people are lying to him about prices and its making him look even more foolish

  7. He says whatever he wants about everything. Truth is absolutely irrelevant. His idiot followers believe whatever he says anyway. So he just lies and makes shit up. This world has always been thus. Julius Cesar probably did the same shit. “The Gauls are begging me for a deal. And slaves have never been cheaper. Nobody knows more about slaves than I Do”

  8. We used to buy 6 or more dozen eggs to boil and color for Easter. I’m glad my children are grow because we couldn’t do that now. I’ve been to 3 or 4 different supermarkets this weekend and eggs were over $5 a dozen at every store (Midwest). Costco had no eggs today and there wasn’t a sign showing a price for eggs that perhaps were sold out. Trump is lying yet again.

  9. Only traitors like cheap eggs! True Americans love paying high egg prices!
Omfg I can’t believe this is our timeline

  10. I just read a fitting Octavia E Butler quote…

    Choose your leaders
    with wisdom and forethought.
To be led by a coward
    is to be controlled
by all that the coward fears.
To be led by a fool
    is to be led
    by the opportunists
    who control the fool.
To be led by a thief
    is to offer up
    your most precious treasures
    to be stolen.
To be led by a liar
    is to ask
    to be told lies.
To be led by a tyrant
    is to sell yourself
    and those you love
    into slavery.

    America shouts bingo

  12. “Wholesale price” vs “Retail price”. As usual he’s too dumb to explain properly, technically the wholesale price of eggs has lowered since February though it’s stupid to say it’s “too low”, the retail price of eggs however is still high and the retail price is what consumers pay. If things work normally the retail price will change within a couple months of the wholesale price changing but that’s entirely up to retailers, they may keep the retail price high because of all the chaos and uncertainty he’s causing in the markets or they may lower it, no one knows.

  13. I was literally at Walmart today and there was a small group of people around the eggs complaining about the prices and how they “were supposed to be a dollar a dozen by now.”

  14. Reporters react with confusion because they used to be journalists and now they’re reporting nonsense and they seem like dicks and theyre uncomfortable with this new development.

  15. I remember buying eggs for $.25 before COVID. Now that Trump has them down to $.13, I feel ok with the constitutional violations.

  16. That man has literally never actually bought eggs in his life. Nor taken out trash, a load of laundry, pumped gas. OUT OF TOUCH with reality…

  17. Unfortunately I don’t shop in Trump’s Alternative Universe “grocery” store. In my real life store damn eggs are still expensive as hell along with all the groceries in the supermarket.
