For context, the Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo has since 2015 adopted an anti car policy aimed at balancing the trafic and making it better for bikes and pedestrians. She has also pushed some general environmental protection policies. A lot of people hate her for it.
Also, I don’t know if this is the only factor.
This is the European way, we should ask our governments to do this more or we will end like the USers. Not so rare anymore Fr*nch W.
