I mentioned in the Friday thread I was going out for a bit of street photography. These are a few of my favourite shots.

Walked for about 4 miles from town to the castle. Finished off with a chocolate twist whippy tub from the Harbour Bar on the seafront. It was a Good Friday.

  1. The first-aider on pic 7 there in case someone accidentally gets crucified?

  2. Like the black n white shot – tell me you shot it on film.👍

  3. Picture 2 is peak. A seagull stealing a sausage roll is a quintessential British scene.

  4. Always slightly surprised at how many actual practising Christians there are out there.

  5. Always think of life of Brian when I see this sort of mindless religious crap

  6. I wish i’d have gone just to see the sausage roll seagull

  7. We went to a local one yesterday. I’ve never heard of it before (I’m not religious or spiritual) but it was great thing to see. So many people enjoyed themselves and really got involved.

  8. In the name of fuck what the bloody hell why why are there fudge sticks in the ice cream? What happened to flakes?

  9. Genuine question … how can you believe in God if you live in Scarborough

  10. Pic 2 is the best of the best of the best. Brilliantly caught OP

  11. Lived in Scarborough for three years. Never saw this. Is it new?!

  12. Really great photos of a really cool event. Thanks for sharing that with us!

  13. That’s harbour bar ice-cream 😉 chocolate twist, my fave!

  14. I used to live in Scarborough. I think I recognise that seagull… His name is You Fucking Twat! At least that’s what my partner and I called him.

  15. Not exactly a very big cross though is it? How on earth are they supposed to crucify anyone on that?

  16. The shift in tone between the first and second pictures absolutely sent me

  17. There’s so much going on in the 2nd photo, it’s incredible.

  18. How are all of these pictures taken in 2025 and 1973 simultaneously?

  19. Really interesting photographs. I like the black and white ones best. 👍
