  1. DHL INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ALERT Sehr Important: New American Rules, Again

Guten Tag, valued American receiver of things,

As of now, DHL can no longer deliver parcels to the USA valued over $800 American Marks. Attempting to do so may trigger customs chaos, financial punishment, and perhaps emotional distress.

This is because of something called “Trump Tariffs” — a regulation still alive, much like David Hasselhoff in your collective hearts.

    Please note:

Shipments must be under $800 American Marks, or they will be interrogated by customs agents with clipboards.

All items may be examined, questioned, and possibly judged.

We cannot ship Kinder Eggs. Again: NO KINDER EGGS. THEY ARE STILL ILLEGAL. Yes, even if hidden inside socks. Customs knows.

For smooth delivery, keep your items small, humble, and non-threatening. Avoid sending luxury tractors, suspicious cheeses, or misunderstood art.

Danke for your cooperation. May your packages be light and your declarations honest.

DHL Express – Ordnung muss sein.

  2. So what does this mean for May 2, when they have to collect the tariffs on everything coming from China, sub-$800 or not?

  3. The people who voted for Orange Foolius are stupider than him.

  4. That’s what, like one crappy shipment from Temu that used to cost $8?

  5. $800 dollars doesn’t seem like much

    Ah, to individuals…

  6. When even DHL says “no thanks” to your customs policy, you know the tariff wall’s getting too high to climb. $800 is the new red line and global trade just blinked.

  7. So my adult toys worth more than $800 will be scrutinized and judged by US customs? Hope they know how to assemble some of them

  8. So,are we great yet?are we winning big time?how much left till greatness?

  9. DHL is hurting anyway…tie noose and jump off the ladder

  10. So b2b not affected. Guess the only way for shipment now is through an intermediary who will have his fees as add on as well. Fun times

  11. I guess this is why this administration is going after women. They have eggs.

  12. I work for a Canadian business, we export about 25% of our products to the US.

We have done steps to mitigate the effect of tarriffs, but it is really getting ridiculous. The paperwork we need to fill in is ridiculous (mostly regarding the traceability of aluminum/steel in our products).

Then our logistics department has to deal with customs regarding those issues too whenever the info is not to their liking or if they contest it.

DHL and Fedex can be used as customs brokers if you want them to, so they are probably getting fed up by the amount of slowdown this introduces. Since things change almost overnight, business do not have time to prepare well for it.

  13. 4th of july coming soon. No fireworks for you or will be veeery expensive

  14. Another one bites the dust wake America up again

  15. DHL has taken the first step to cancel all shipments to the US and I can’t blame them. I dont think many Americans realize how HUGE this news is.

I think we are going to see a lot of upset Americans in the next few months when they start reaping what they’ve sowed.

I’m a very petty person, and honestly I’m going to enjoy watching America’s downfall after all the terrible things they’ve done around the world.

It’s ironic that after decades of toppling foreign democracies and installing hand picked dictators , the same thing is what’s causing the USA’s rapid descent.

    Karma’s a bitch.

  16. So is the below 800 usd de minis rule still in existence??

  17. For everyone that didn’t read the article, this is direct shipments to individual/consumers. Businesses shipping DHL are not affected.

  18. Loooots of people here complaining about that have voted stupidly. That’s not an insult that’s a fact. You got to be mentally challenged to not be able to foresee this. After it happened last time already. That’s mental.

  19. Good thing DHL barely sent shit to the US anyway, it’s FX and UPS that hold like %80+ of that market share, DHL always preferred EU. This will drop their market share by maybe 5% max?

  20. In 45 days, when shittith hittith the fanneth…it’s going to suck. And after large protests get wild, trump will invoke insurrection act to consolidate more power.

He is never leaving. We better do something sooner than later. N

  21. In summary:

Business to Business = not affected (may delay)

Business to Consumer = affected as follows
    * Shipments < $800 = not affected
    * Shipments > $800 = ON HOLD

WHY = “…new U.S. customs rules which require formal entry processing…”

  22. don’t forget… if you purchase something from another state… calculate the sales tax and send it to the state.

  23. I’m currently overseas and want to ship some stuff back home, cause carrying it would be too much.. but at this point carrying it is worth more than how much I’m anticipating the cost would be.. so now I’m not buying stuff 🙁
