I’M A H. DOUBLE O D. LOW LIFE SCUM IS WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ME

Kneecap have been hit with the typical Irish attitude of loving and supporting an underdog but once they make it they become despised
Its actuall very interesting watching which posts get banned/ taken down / locked and which don’t. the mods ideological framework isnt hard to piece together from it
Ohh boy, can’t wait to read all the “not my cup of tea” comments…
I’ve never even heard a Kneecap song but I do enjoy how much their popularity winds certain people up.
They’re bluffers
BATEMAN: You like Kneecap?
ALLEN: Um, they’re okay.
BATEMAN: Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when 3CAG came out in 2018, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. They’ve been compared to The Rubberbandits, but I think Kneecap has a far more republican sense of humor.
ALLEN: Hey, Halberstram?
BATEMAN: Yes, Allen?
ALLEN: Why are there copies of the Style section all over the place? Do you… Do you have a dog? A little chow or something?
BATEMAN: No, Allen.
ALLEN: Is that a raincoat?
BATEMAN: Yes, it is. In 2024, Huey released this; Fime Art, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is “Better Way to Live”. A song so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it’s not just about the struggle of finding somewhere to belong. It’s also a personal statement about the band itself. Hey, Paul!
*Bateman murders Allen with an axe*
BATEMAN: Try getting an award on r/Ireland now you stupid bastard!

Hey Paul!!
I liked Kneecap before they got all political.
Is that a raincoat?
Look at the stiching on Paul Allen’s Balaclava…
Do young people actually listen to Kneecap?
