  1. So, there’s concern regarding a species that died out after the last ice age, were artificially re-introduced to the area 200 years ago, and the current population is still nearly two degrees of magnitude above the number that were re-introduced at the time?

    Well, shit. Let’s stop everything and get these fuckers breeding. I’m asking my boss if I can leave for the Peak District this afternoon, and I’ll pick up a book on the reproductive habits of mountain hares from the library on the way.
