What I don’t understand about Yanks is, they idolise people they choose to govern them in an irrational way.
It’s all about the emotional intellect of people raised to celebrate hype, selling out and the commodification of culture and living itself.
Growing up, I used to relieve myself in a public pisser older than the United States.
Ancient Egypt: 3000 years.
But ok.
This isn’t a meme
My local is 585 years older than the US lol
I mean hell, even Harvard University in the US is older than the United States.
I’m struggling to understand the stupidity here
I was in a building from the 13 hundreds the other day. It was a pub.
I was in another pub the day before that had been serving alcohol one way or the other since the 11th century.
I like old pubs.
I’ve seen Chippys older than the USA, I love you yanks but some of you need to be plonked on the head with a rather large mallet or just get some actual education
I mean it’s funny, but didn’t we sign the union incorporating northern Ireland in the early 1800s? So we’ve been around a while but only the United kingdom for 200 ISH years? Any history buffs?
How can someone be so ignorant. Like just Google one thing? Or pick up a book?
Most intelligent American
My school is older than your country.
San Marino, Iran, china, England, France, Iceland etc
Loads of countries older than 250 years, a change in government or method of government doesn’t mean the country ceases to be.
Chap is a first class idiot.
No country has ever, ever existed “much” beyond 250 years lol
It isnt really considering we’re in terminal decline.
At least they have enough space to try to get away from the system that seems our destruction.
This country is tiny and even has state propaganda you have to pay to “enjoy”.
I love seeing people try to use this random fact, and they will always bring up the Roman Empire to back it up. Considering the Roman Empire lasted way longer than 250 years, which they forget to look up.
Can someone remind him what went on in those years? Lol
My best friend’s mom’s house in Somerset England is older than the exploration of the new world.
My parent’s house was built before the American Civil War. 🥴
San Marino because a republic 1,000 years before Europeans landed in the Americas
My house is exactly half as old as America
Where do they get that information from? Why that exact number?
The British state has existed since 1707, that’s 318 years; the British monarchy was founded in 519 AD and we’ve had a continuous royal line for all that time, meaning that King Charles III and all his predecessors are the descendants of the first King of Wessex, Cerdic. Only the Papacy is older, but that is an elected office and was even once held by a Briton.

You’d think a country so obsessed with their revolutionary war would recall that the country they split away from is actually still around.
Gold.

As much as I love them, they are quite daft
