When rivals become idols.

Nineteen months have passed since former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion Max Holloway delivered a stunning knockout against UFC legend and two-time title challenger Chan Sung Jung, popularly known as “The Korean Zombie,” in the main event of UFC Singapore, retiring him in the process (watch highlights).

Since hanging up his gloves, Jung has seamlessly transitioned into a fight promoter, organizing events under his Z Fight Night (ZFN) banner. His keen eye for talent has already propelled several fighters to UFC, cementing his influence in the sport’s next chapter.

Jung recently extended a heartfelt invitation to Holloway to visit his home country, South Korea, and participate in a ZFN Fight Audition. Together, they will evaluate aspiring fighters during workouts, selecting those who will earn a coveted spot in an upcoming ZFN event.

The duo will also co-host a seminar next week, sharing their expertise with the next generation of MMA talent.

Holloway touched down in South Korea yesterday (Sat, April 19, 2025). As he stepped into the airport, he was greeted with a hero’s welcome, with hundreds of passionate Korean fans cheering for the fighter.

“Blessed” has been sidelined since suffering the first knockout loss of his iconic career. Now, as he transitions to a new weight class, he awaits his next UFC assignment, poised to continue his legacy.
