    So it was all a total waste of time and money (unless you’re on the board of directors for the MAT, of course!).

    I fail to see why, if we’re governing based on evidence, we’re persisting in this farce.

  2. I think it’s been clear since the days of Gove that Tory education policy is exclusively ideological, with limited reference to evidence. The fact that this is as true of academies as it is of linear qualifications or teacher pay comes as absolutely no surprise.

What a shock all the major decisions made over the last 10 years have been backed by some trite misleading bullshit that brainwashed reactionaries have forced us to have a big hoo-haw about rather than accept they’re following a bunch of corrupt self-interested wankers with no desire to see this country prosper or succeed.
