  2. I’m shocked the Russians are picking up their dead. Normally their officers forbid it so the army doesn’t have to pay death benefits.

  4. I’m sure this is preferable to killing each other, especially for those doing it to rescue a disastrous decision made by one man.

  8. I doubt the russians are making much effort to recover bodies. Then they would have to send them home and that would mean more people would see that people are dying in large numbers. Unless they go right to a crematory.

  9. Easier for the Russians to loot the bodies if they recover them

  11. I might be wrong and i probably am. But this is the only time i’ve ever seen russia keep their word in truce. I’m 36 years old.
