I believe that Putin is tampering with the elections.
if I were in Macron I would be worried about the elections
Between the uninformed, stupid or blackmailed people and the ones who generally don’t trust politicians, Vučić doesn’t need to rig anything
How anyone can vote for Putin friendly rightwing authoritarians after all that has happened is beyond me.
These elections really enlightened me as to where we are as a country. All pro-EU, pro-western parties combined got a bit over 20, maybe 25% total. That feels so surreal to me. People on reddit and social media can bitch about Vucic as much as they want but the fact is, people in Serbia are very nationalist and very right wing on average.
Vucic LOST popularity, but do you think his ex-supporters went left…? Hell no. The right wing is even stronger now, because Vucic wasn’t good enough for them! People went even further right into Russophilia and isolationism while leftists are weaker than ever. And that’s scary. Overall, SNS is not stupid. They’re smarter than Milosevic was for sure and they won’t turn their backs on the whole west like he did. They try to have something for everyone – a bit of EU, a bit of Russia, a bit of China etc. Radical centrism, good relations with everyone is nice to have, although at the expense of extreme corruption and kleptocracy on the national level.
And the saddest thing is, that’s better. Better than the far right lunatics that are filling up the parliament now
So, Hungary and Serbia are far right autocracies that support Putin’s dictatorship and go against european values.
EU, i think it’s time to do something: you have far-right parasites both in and near your territory.
To answer all your question at once. Right wing lost in Serbia with only 4%. Pro Russian same thing. Vučić is not far right and is not pro Russia.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As someone who went yesterday to vote from abroad, I can but say, these elections have been rigged like no other since Milosevic times.
There are thousands of irregularities in election process, for anyone interested just visit r/serbia.
