  9. I’d love for someone in the press to ask Trump what the significance of Easter is to Christianity. Like, what does the holiday celebrate? I’d be shocked if he got it right, he’d more likely go on a rant about something completely unrelated.

    Everyone knows Easter celebrates the day that Jesus himself dressed up as a bunny and handed eggs out to rich kids so they could throw them at poor kids, but I really don’t think Trump knows about the origins of the holiday.

  37. What is really shocking is that ANYONE believes that he is a Christian. He sees religion as a tool to manipulate people to get what he wants. Once he has that, and they can’t take it away from him, he will no longer have use for them and their beliefs.
    The fact that Evangelicals, or any so called christian can’t see he is a fraud just shows me their faith is about domination and cruelty.

I mean, I hate that fucking sociopathic Cheeto as much as anyone, but…religion has no place in modern politics. There is not separation of church and state, but there should be. Trump just uses the guise of Christianity to pander to rural voters, who are often more religious than city folk. Often, not always. I live rural AF and am also an absolute atheist. Why does an imaginary god (I mean, they’re all imaginary,) that people made up thousands of years ago have any place in how modern politics are conducted? It’s insane.
