If you like to shop and/or are gay, I’d go with the area on the left. Main tourist attractions are in the area on the left. However, public transit is quite extensive and it’s only a few kilometers between both areas, so don’t feel you have to pick just between those 2 areas. As long as you’re central and near an U-Bahn station, you’ll be fine
