  1. Can you imagine heading to work as a public servant, having chosen a career that’s a relatively low risk to your health…

…and some fucking gimp comes in threatening to “blow your head off” with a gun

Lock that ballbag up and throw away the key

  2. Getting so close on the bingo cards before something is done surely.

  3. I had to throw a drunk lad and about three scrotes off my local bus in Limerick yesterday eve. Scrotes wouldn’t pay the fair and the drunk lad tried to sneak on without paying. Bus driver couldn’t do anything but start the alarm bell delaying everyone. Assholes

  4. Right wingers strangely silent about this incident…….

  5. A man boarded a bus, seemingly thinking it was empty and possibly intending to steal from it. The driver, who was sitting in the back and on his phone, informed the man the bus wouldn’t depart for a while. The man left but returned, brandishing what appeared to be a gun, threatened to kill the driver, then fled. The driver was left shaken and very upset.

  6. Why do the unions always have to make that call? Surly Dublin Bus have safety protocols and staff having a gun pulled on them would trigger (pardon the pun) some action or something that could be agreed with the staff such as security on bus / police response in the area.

I know it could be a difficult balance when you are providing public transport but this doesn’t feel like a borderline case.

  7. There’s a shop somewhere near the Ilac Centre that has guns for sale in the window – you can see it through the window of the LUAS. Obviously they’re not real guns, but they look realistic. When someone’s pointing one in your face you’re not going to question whether it’s real or not
