  1. Idk about joke candidates not winning, Boris Johnson did win this seat that time.

  2. One of them DID win in this particular election, unfortunately, it was the wrong one.

  3. Say what you like about the UK (god knows I do), but I am genuinely kind of proud of our tradition of joke candidates. Mr Fish Finger was another highlight.

  4. One of these days, one of these guys is going to get their deposit returned and all hell will break loose

  5. One of them would shit themselves if they won.

  6. I mean bojo did win so I don’t think this completely stands up to scrutiny

  7. I certainly think Count Binface had some sensible policies in there.

  8. I mean Boris won, and he is a bigger joke than the rest of the candidates in that pick

  9. I think having to be elected in a constituency, getting the results in local hall on a flat stage with joke candidates around, is an important part of humbling the would-be PM (along with having to bow to bad ask the King to pretty please be Prime Minister). US presidents don’t get grounded like that by the process.

  10. The only difference in the uk is that every candidate is a joke candidate.

  11. 14 years of posh idiots with no clue ruining the country – and W Holloway doesn’t think the joke candidates won?

  12. lol @ the W Holloway quote underneath: *The only difference is here the joke candidates don’t win* Er.. Johnson won?
