Lyndex-Nikken, a manufacturer of machine tool accessories and machine tending equipment, has expanded its sales team to address evolving market needs in Canada and Mexico. The company has appointed Rob Hiemstra as regional sales representative for Eastern Canada and Nataly Gonzalez as regional sales representative for South Central Mexico.

Hiemstra brings over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on tools, molds, gauges, and automation. His previous roles include sales manager and senior technical sales advisor at a midsized manufacturing firm, where he was responsible for sales operations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Hiemstra holds Ontario Journeyman Papers in Mold Making and an Ontario Teaching Certificate in Technological Studies. His background combines technical proficiency with experience in sales team leadership and customer support.

Gonzalez has six years of experience in manufacturing sales and technical consultation, with a specialization in high-performance cutting tools. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Advanced Manufacturing. Gonzalez has worked across a range of industries, including automotive and oil and gas, providing machining solutions aimed at process efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

According to Russ Reinhart, national sales manager at Lyndex-Nikken, the addition of Hiemstra and Gonzalez is intended to strengthen the company’s ability to offer technical support and tooling recommendations in their respective regions.
