Citizens Financial Group, Inc. has expanded its Private Wealth Business with the addition of a $700 million Advisor Team in North Jersey led by Kieran Lynch, Jack Inserra and Craig Kaufman.
The team brings more than 75 years of combined experience in serving the wealth management needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and businesses, having previously managed approximately $700 million in client assets. Forbes named the team one of its Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams for 2023, 2024 and 2025.
“We are excited to welcome a top Bergen County-based advisor team to Citizens Private Wealth to enhance our service of Tri-State Metro clients’ comprehensive needs with integrated solutions,” said Tom Metzger, head of Private Wealth Advisors at Citizens. “The team has extensive expertise partnering with high-net-worth business owners and was attracted to Citizens for the opportunity to collaborate with our Commercial Bank and Private Bank to seamlessly deliver holistic banking and wealth management solutions.”
Since expanding into the Tri-State metro area in 2022, through the acquisitions of HSBC’s East Coast branches and New Jersey-based Investors Bank, Citizens has grown its presence in the market across business lines. The bank has 174 branches in the Tri-State Metro area and has seen top-quartile household and deposit growth in the most competitive market in the country. The new team will partner with both the Commercial Bank and Private Bank, which plans to open its first New York Private Banking office in June.
Citizens Private Wealth offers financial planning, investment management, deposits and lending, estate and trust planning, insurance and asset protection solutions, alternative investments and tax planning and preparation. As part of its ongoing wealth acceleration strategy, Citizens has strategically expanded its presence in critical markets nationwide over the last year with the addition of top industry advisory teams.
