THAT right there ought to be enough to get the Israeli public to toss these jokers out and re-evaluate this whole conflict. I would love to see some cooler and more peace oriented folks in charge over there. I know there are A LOT of forces that are working against that both inside and outside of Israel unfortunately.
Makes sense to me. Israel needs to ensure Hamas can never again take hostages or attack civilians (as Hamas has promised to do). Getting the current hostages released is important, but not as important as neutralizing Hamas.
Of course the most important war aim is guaranteeing that Hamas can’t perpetrate another pogrom like Oct 7.
If Hamas is left extant it’s virtually guaranteed that they’ll strike again, dooming Israelis and Palestinians to another round of devastating fighting.
Liquidating Hamas is necessary to protect innocent life on both sides of the border.
I support the Palestinians loudly demanding an end to Hamas rule and an end to their doomed genocidal war of aggression against Israel.
This has always been the case and the majority of the Israeli population accepted it, wanted it even. It’s a cultural want for revenge, these are just casualties of war for Israel. Revenge is a powerful drug, especially when you’re God’s chosen, sent by a higher power to murder a people.
*”We need to eliminate the problem of Gaza.”*
When you start referring to entire groups of people as *the problem* you are inevitably going to end up with a *final solution*.
Duh. Anyone with a brain knew this all along.
Security of 10m>>>200. It’s cold logic, but Hamas doesn’t get a pass because they have some hostages. They’d just use that as an excuse to take more.
Somebody finally said the quiet part out loud. Freeing hostages was never the Zionists’ first (or any) priority, otherwise the hostages would’ve been home a long time ago. It was always about subjugation and genocide of an occupied people.
