I was just at Blenheim Palace last week and noticed they have [a jousting tournament coming up](https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/jousting/). Looks like the woman with the yellow tabard in their promo images, which I guess makes sense, there can’t be too many jousting groups around!

This looks amazing. I’ve just been reading Ivanhoe so mediaeval jousts currently live large in my mind, would love to see something like this.
I was there yesterday! Brilliant day out, as well as the jousting they had falconry displays, some living history areas, archery with old school long-bows you could have a go at, and some food stands. They do it a few times throughout the year, so if you get a chance, make a trip!

Went to Leeds castle last year to see this. I wasn’t expecting how hard they were hitting each other.

Knights are hot
Modern soldiers or action heroes bristling with weapons and body armour and that looks cool, but nothing looks as badass as a knight in full plate on a horse.
