Producer inflation in South Korea went up 1.3% from a year earlier in March 2025, following a 1.5% rise in the prior month.
The slowdown was mainly driven by a softer increase in electricity, water, and gas prices (up 4.6% vs. 5.1% in February), while service prices held steady with a 1.6% annual rise.
In contrast, prices for agricultural, forestry, and marine products extended their decline, falling 3% compared to a 2.1% drop previously.
On a monthly basis, producer prices remained flat for the second straight month.
