This post keeps getting deleted, I think because I express the view that all members of the US Republican Party are not mentally unstable, like the ones I call "QTards", (The Q / Anon crowd makes up about 50% of Republicans now). Maybe it gets deleted because I am too offensive, maybe it will again. Sorry in advance, I am not mealy-mouthed. I just want to get this off my chest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I support most of what Trump is trying to do domestically, but I am ashamed of what he is doing to the reputation of the United States in the world. Both the UN Vote that sided with Russia and North Korea against the free world, and the temporary suspension of US military aid to our great ally, Ukraine, (not to mention that the US also suspended support in locating tens of thousands of kidnapped Ukrainian children ), has damaged the reputation of the USA. I wonder of any future president can ever repair it.
Ukraine became, at one point, the third largest contingent in America's war in Iraq, (according to "Ukrainians complete mission in Iraq" on Army.Mil). Ukrainians fought, shed blood and died with American soldiers, even though Ukraine was not obligated because they are not a member of NATO. I am proud of the thousands of Iraq War vets who have fought and died with our brothers in arms in Ukraine, (such as JD Vance's cousin that he no longer speaks to).
The USA is the ONLY NATO member to EVER invoke Article 5 and ask member states to come to it's aid in a time of war, and none of them asked to be "paid back" for it. We made a treaty with Ukraine when Ukraine agreed to give up it's nuclear weapons and we assured Ukraine's territorial integrity in exchange and that is the ONLY payment that that was necessary.
JD brags about his military service when he never actually had to fight because he served in the Fanny Bellhop Brigade as a journalist as evidenced by his tattooed eyeliner and the pictures of him in drag, (and YES those are REAL, not photoshopped).
When I watched the infamous interview, and I saw that bewildered look on President Zenenskyy's face, I could not help but wonder, is he thinking:
"So a draft dodger and a Girly-Boy think they can tell ME about war and what it means to fight for your country?"
The USA showed the whole world that even our old, mothballed, obsolete military technology cannot be trusted. The US disabled the targeting systems of US missiles and refused the transfer of spare parts just because Trump had a hissy-fit and soiled his diaper! Our cast-offs not worth 10 cents much less 100 billion dollars.
Any country in the world considering future purchases of US military technology needs to think twice. I am a Second Amendment advocate, and I would rather own an old flintlock than one of the new, hi-tech weapons from the US with integrated locking mechanisms that can be disabled by the government at the press of a button, just because the latest senile old coot sitting in the executives chair has a brain fart. Trump may be "mentally stable" but he is certainly not emotionally or spiritually stable.
I'm sure there are a lot more offensive things I could say, but I don't want to make this post too long, it may already be.
I would be much more proud if America had a President like Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

No one respects your “opinion” because you like every single one of your representatives you support are incapable of saying “no” your wannabe dictator. Talk is cheap, but people like you are programmed to fall in line and that’s all you’ll ever do. There are no “good” Republicans because they’re cowards who are afraid to step out of line even when they know they’re supporting the destruction of their own country and democracy.
You could argue Republicans aren’t all mentally unstable or trying to turn the US into a Russian style state with a dictator and no real adherence to law outside the great leaders whims. But it this was all part of Trump’s campaign rhetoric, especially abandoning Ukraine so that what they supported and voted for.
Kinda weird to support someone whose pushing your own country towards Russia and then be surprised when he abandons the folks fighting Russia.
Might wanna get your priorities in order.
Ok I’m confused. Do you like trump or not? You stated you like him but then state you want him to be more like Zelenskyy? Those two people couldn’t be more different. I mean for starters Zelenskyy didn’t cheat on his wife with a p**n star.
You support what he is doing domestically wtf
Excellent. Well said. Much respect to you from here in the UK.
People downvoting are the people who can’t tolerate anyone who doesn’t agree with them 100%. It’s OK to think hard about every issue individually, instead of just letting all your opinions follow whatever groupthink is popular online. You’re not the only one who has split feelings about Trump domestically vs abroad.
Appreciate your post and effort in it. I think a lot of us (people outside the US) do know that not every republican is a Qtard etc.
The problem is that it doesn’t really matter. They have the upper hand in the party and Trump is becoming batshit insane. And starts to sound awfully ‘sleepy’
What you’re telling here isn’t something you should tell us, it’s something that should be told to the Qtard crowd. They are the current image of the republican party and it seems that nobody really cares. Trump can’t do anything wrong, everything is part of some masterplan and people that think otherwise are “dumb liberals”
The biggest damn problem seems to be the stupid two party system. Its either the dems or the reps. What do you even want to do if you don’t identify with either of them? I think this is the core problem. The dems can’t help themselves and the reps are seemingly going nuts. Y’all seem to act as if politics is some fucking football match only where the ‘other side’ supposedly is the literal fucking devil instead of just another ‘team’
I’m from Europe and had some small (naive) hope that Trump was just doing it for attention and would become less bombastic once in office. I was wrong. And seeing how quick relations between Europe and the US can change every election now, i don’t think the relations will ever be the same again. One positive thing here is that the EU finally got kicked in the balls hard enough and realise that we should not rely so goddamn much on other countries.
