  1. It is a lovely spot. Hope you did the tour and went inside.

  2. I haven’t been home to the UK for 3 years, this is making me look forward to my trip in July to see my family. So many people take the UK scenery for granted, it can be and mostly is a beautiful place

  3. As pretty as the south can also be, not having lakes rocks and hills in the abundance of the north makes me jealous!

  4. Driven past that place hundreds of times for work. Never actually been in. You would never know it was their.

  5. I lived relatively close by and never visited. Going to have to go next time im visiting family near Worksop!

  6. I recognised it straight away! I grew up not far away, I visited it regularly during my childhood.

  7. Just took a look out my window, the Family opposite have workmen digging up their drive way and two dachshunds are having a shit right in front of my house.

  8. m8 this almost looks like Bohemia. I almost thought this was a KCD2 screenshot.

  9. People really don’t recognise how lucky we are on this little island. So much of it is incredibly beautiful.

  10. We’re such a beautiful country, it’s a shame so many people are so negative about everything here.

A week off social media and exploring the countryside will improve your mental health ten fold

  11. We have some great countryside for sure. People will explore what’s abroad before ever valuing what’s on their own doorstep.

  12. I am always trying to tell my work colleagues that we do have beautiful blue seas in the UK and sandy beaches that are great for a long weekend away.

  13. Its a shame a lot of the towns and cities in the UK are bad because it jades us into forgetting we have one of the nicest countrysides in the world

  14. Hey I’ve been there! Beautiful spot and a really interesting history

  15. I’m British, but come on you can find this sort of scenery in many many many other countries.

  16. Stunnung. As I walked along stunning grassy fields and waterways to get the train this morning, I thought how pucky we are

  17. I do love that place, an alternative to our usual trips up the peaks sometimes

  18. Aw I know this place.

Its where I take the family fly tipping!

    Breathtaking.

  19. My town has a really pretty bridge with great views but nobody goes there because there’s always a Farm Foods bag wielding tramp wanking under it

  20. I’m disappointed the last image wasn’t some horrible new build estate on obvious flood plain land with no drainage somewhere in Kent

  21. They are much further east than I thought. I love all the cowslips in the last picture.

  22. Dude wtf bandits attacked my and my crew whilst we delivering a message on this lake, be careful!

  23. It’s an amazing place! When I was a teenager (a frighteningly long time ago), the main road ran through the middle of the crags. The caves weren’t blocked off in those days and my mate and I used to cycle down there with our ball of string and torches and see how far down the caves we could get. It was awesome.

  24. I’ve been there where you took this picture, I can’t remember the full name.. something Crag lol??

If you like coastal scenery check out Mullian Cove, Cornwall. In the peak of summer the water down there is like the Mediterranean. I beautiful island is so undervalued and under appreciated by so many of us who are trapped in the concrete jungles.

Explore your island, live it and love it!

  25. Having lived in New Zealand for 11 years I still get blown away when I return to Yorkshire

  26. Living in Chesterfield this is like a 10 minute drive away for me, we love going on walks there. We are very fortunate to have so many lovely places without having to drive far.

  27. We aren’t really spoiled because scenery like this is few and far between, with hideous traffic if you want to visit.

  28. Ok, whatever you say, but the rest of the world has wonderful scenery
