  5. The only thing that threw me off in this ep was after he takes a shotgun to the knee. There is no real pain or anything. He’s just kinda casually sitting listening to abby

  9. Clearly he’s going to be in it in flashbacks. I reckon the reason they added Catherine O Hara’s character is as a plot device to facilitate flashbacks through therapy. Ellie will probably spend half the season speaking to her while we intercut with Abby’s story

  10. I just started season 2 and as soon as I saw Abby (when I figured it out), I suddenly remembered the other part of the game. My wife, who has never played the game before was like who the fuck are these people?! I haven’t seen the second episode yet but I’m prepping her as to a possible second storyline

  13. I don’t see how it’s a twist. The character said straight up what the plan was, why would anyone doubt it was gonna happen? It’s based off a video game and Joel wasn’t the main character.

  17. I hate that the article says Ellie’s death would result in a vaccine. We have no idea if they’d actually be able to turn her death into that. For all we know, her death could have gotten them nowhere.

  18. My wife and I talked about the surprise non-gamers had coming this season. TLOU 2 is a top-3 game for me. Easily. Just brilliant storytelling.

  29. I don’t think people realize how much of the show he is and how upset this will make people. I know it’s probably in the games and had to happen, but maybe change that up for the show since he’s the cash cow. Viewership is going to tank now, the show is finished in my opinion.
