  12. Sure, disarm, no army, no NATO, unfreeze assets, pro Russian government. He knows he’s lost.

  18. Obviously Putin is bluffing to get the ball in Ukraine’s court again. He didn’t even sign the unconditional ceasefire deal yet. So he just wants Ukraine to be the one giving out conditions for a lasting peace which Trump/Putin then can shoot down like they are unreasonable.

    This has never been about territory, it’s about the sovereignty of Ukraine. If the condition for this “offer” is the neutrality and demilitarization of Ukraine it’s unacceptable. It will leave Ukraine vulnerable to a new attack and political pressure.

  27. No one wants war but if Russia is allowed to hold this territory then the west has been defeated. They will try and sell it to the public differently but there is no doubt that the only winner here is Putin. As soon as lines are frozen and hostilities cease you will see loads of American businesses flowing back to Russia, you will see sanctions lifted, you will see assets un frozen. Putin cares nothing for human life. As soon as they strengthen, they will re-group and go again.
