  3. It rained all night and morning here, and going for a stroll at the nearby ponds was fantastic. Some of the first migratory birds have made their nests already, and Eurasian coots (nokikana) and Canada geese as well as goldeneyes (telkkä) are now all quiet whereas just two weeks ago, they were loudly claiming their turf and showing who’s the king at this pond.

  6. Nothing takes the edge of like worrying/panicking about ticks.

  7. I swear last week everything was still gray. Literally felt like everything sprang into life in a matter of 1-2 day(s). Plants are so sick and cool.
