Is that the footpath?
Isn’t parking on the footpath illegal full stop?
That’s not a parking bay , especially since you appear to be on public road – so illegal yes with the double yellows.
There is a reason why you never see double yellow next to parking spots – double yellows mean no parking anywhere there. In the picture – thats technically the hard shoulder.
It’s illegal, you’re not supposed to cross a double yellow line with a vehicle.
When it comes to double yellow lines, the best bet is to assume that you can’t park there at any time.
The lines are in a strange location? Was the road widen recently?? Why are they so far from the wall all the way up the road if there is no footpath there.
As well as the double yellow lines…… If it’s also a solid white line that side of the speedbump then you can’t park there.
