  1. He’s a pretty classic bully archetype in everything he does. Attempts to strongarm people and countries into doing what he wants, folds like a cheap suit at the slightest pushback. He never frames it that way of course, it’s always an act of mercy from the god king, but he does fold.

    2. “Negotiate” by caving.
    3. Declare “victory” and a “great deal.”

  29. I’m glad they got him to listen to anyone but Navarro. Liberation Day was never about making any deals. It was about isolating the US economy. They have this stupid idea that not allowing international competition would mean that prices would lower because everything is made here. But those idiots apparently missed into to macroeconomics because everywhere it’s been tried it’s failed spectacularly.
