Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays is heading to New Zealand for the first time.
It has launched its first tour with a comprehensive 21-day escorted trip to New Zealand’s North and South Islands.
The itinerary is designed to showcase the country’s diverse landscapes of subtropical islands, national parks, glaciers and fiords, taking in the most iconic sites and major cities.
There are optional extras for guests to personalise their Aotearoa experience.
Highlights include tours of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, as well as a day-long cruise through the Bay of Islands and a scenic drive to Rotorua, renowned for its rich Maori culture.
It also features a cruise around Milford Sound fjord, and a cruise and hike through the celebrated Abel Tasman National Park.
Intimate experiences include the National Kiwi Hatchery, tasting at a Marlborough winery, and punting along the River Avon in Christchurch.
Guests will also visit the Lord of the Rings film set, fly over Mount Cook, and go wildlife spotting at the Royal Albatross Colony.
Prices start from £7,151 per person, with a 10% saving, and include 17-nights bed & breakfast accommodation, UK return flights from Birmingham, Heathrow or Manchester, guided tours, transfers and internal flights.
There is a choice of two September and November departures in 2026, and eight departures through 2027.
