  1. Refugees are supposed to be temporary sure. It’s temporary protection until its safe to go home

Although the minister of housing yesterday was talking about ireland needed ing to build 35,000 houses for Refugees and also CPO of private buildings to use as accommodation. This is where the government decide to take peoples property for a fee of course but no choice.

The males who have been temporarily conscripted into the Ukranian military will eventually look to reunite with their families. What happens then?

I would not like to be a young renter in Ireland or someone looking to get on the property ladder and secondly maybe its not “temporary protection ” after all.

  2. They are supposed to be temporary as soon as it’s safe so they can rebuild their countries and global inequality slows down.

It’s not the moral thing to do to take those who can afford to escape from a country and who have built up a small fortune in relative wealth abroad and keep them here contributing to our own economy while their homelands never fully recovers.
