Eh, no coffee needed again. Deleting Facebook was a really good decision. I have an Eastern surname (I’m Polish, as are my parents and grandparents) and the number of random comments „wypierdalaj do siebie” I’ve received since 2022 after commenting random posts was a bit overwhelming.
I mean they don’t like Russians either 🤷🏽
Plenty of them are just russian trolls – they can’t even write correctly and their syntax is typical for eastern Slavic languages (Polish is western Slavic)
I wonder what’s going to happen when the war and occupation is over and it will be safe to return – will the Ukrainian refugees stay or leave?
This works that way in any language if you’re on fb
As a pole, FB is just toxic whatever you post. It can be a watch brand, a car brand – and always you will find 90% hater comments.
But the true is that a lot of poles don’t wanna fight a war that is not theirs. Poles fighting on their war defending Poland is another thing.

But Ukraines conscription age is 25 so why would they complain about it?
It is always funny when poles are talking about how “these young men are at conscription age, should go die at the front”

As a Pole, I’d like to apologise for shameful comments like these. They’re made by idiots, and don’t reflect all of us. I wish all the Ukrainians have a safe stay here. Fuck Russia.
