  2. It feels a bit like Ukraine knows very well that Putin can’t go on for very much longer. He wouldn’t even propose peace talks if he wasn’t aware that the days of “success” on the battlefield are numbered for Russia and that Ukraine can’t be broken by randomly killing civilians. Russia needs a break and Ukraine will use it.

  3. Putin can not speak for himself anymore. He is to deep into the influence of his own system. His Generals, the population of the elder people who admire him as well as the infiltrated youth. There is truly no way back to „normal“. The only thing to stop the war is a truce to safe Putin in power. Selenskyj hade made so many offers… But… No answer… Does Putin really still want to conquer the whole of Ukraine? This is the idea of a Lada General…

    But he’s too intelligent, modest and humble for that sort of statement (that ultimately led to more death and destruction anyway).

    America is impotent because it’s leader is a muppet.

    russia is losing badly in real terms and needs to find a way out that makes pootin look like he’s won so he can lie to his people again. pootin needs the war to continue or else he’s gonna end up like Gaddafi. Oil prices are beyond his ability to fiddle with. Yesterday an ammunition dump went baddaboom 80 kms from Moscow. Every single goal pootin set hasn’t been achieved.

    Europe has cleverly given just enough (frequently using russian cash) at the right times to look like it was serious. Europe has also realised there’s good money to be made in the arms industry now America doesn’t want to play with anyone any more. Europe has also been drawn closer than anyone thought possible.

    Expect some more red line warnings in the next few days from russia. Yawn.

  9. If they ACTUALLY cease fire. That includes civilians.

  10. If Russia actually stops… Putin will just raise another stockpile of meat and weapons and will be back… There won’t be an end to this till Russia topples over.
