1. You can respect and support trans people while still acknowledging biological reality. These aren’t mutually exclusive positions. Women’s rights depend on sex-based protections, not identity-based definitions.

3. Why cant we as a society accept that there is gender and there is sex? Sex is either male or female (apart from rare exceptions and mutations) and does not depend on feelings any more than being brunette or blonde.

   gender is an imagined role in a society that we can call whatever we like, because its imagined. And that can depend on what the person feels like. We can call that man and woman.

   In some situations it is more important what the persons sex is, in others the gender is more important. 

   What the fuck is so difficult about this? I dont get what i am missing from this equation.

4. To my trans siblings in the U.K., I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this hateful bullshit. Know that we will win our full rights in time.

5. Just a few days ago alot of people swore this wasn’t about redefining womanhood. Now Starmer’s saying “trans women are not women?
   Did I miss a memo?? The dude went from “trans women are women” to this real fast.
   Wild seeing a supposedly left-leaning gov push stuff that’s rolling back trans rights.

   The article is literally posted here, quoting him as saying ‘women are adult females’.

   Note the complete absence of statement about gender identity vs biology, or reference to trans people. 

   At no point has Keir Starmer ever said ‘trans women are not women’.

   BS posts like this are just spreading the culture war anti-left agenda.
   I swear it used to be more difficult to spread nonsense, you at least had to fake a source or find some buried quotes to take out of context. 
   Now you can just take a statement like ‘murder is wrong’ and get AI to write 100 articles about ‘person says murder victim was ‘wrong’ to shake hands with a black person!’ and everyone will argue the headline. 

   I knew literacy was down but it’s like, a few hundred simple words. 

8. It’s odd, in my day to day life, I never think about someone’s sex or gender. I know 1 transperson and that person’s gender has not hurt me at all. We’ve got to stop focusing on less than 1% of the population.
